Under moderate supervision, the Part-Time Parking Lot Cashier greets our guests and receives the parking fees along with making the proper change.

Essential functions include:

• Greeting and welcoming guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Receiving payment of parking fees and making proper change.
• Balancing cash and unsold parking tickets. 
• Answering questions regarding parking procedures and lot regulations.
• Position performs other job related duties as required.

NOTE:  THESE ARE A PART-TIME POSITIONS AND HOURS OF WORK ARE IRREGULAR.  THERE IS NO MINIMUM NUMBER OF WEEKLY HOURS GUARANTEED.  MUST BE AVAILABLE DURING THE DAY, EVENINGS, WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS.  THESE POSITIONS WILL AVERAGE 20 HOURS PER WEEK.  

SALARY RANGE
$10.58 - $11.08 per hour

This position requires:

• Availability to permit scheduling during weekdays, weekends, and holidays as assigned.
• Skill in effective verbal communication.
• Ability to deal diplomatically with the public, supervisors and fellow employees.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work in inclement weather.

Successful candidates from the interview process will be required to complete a background investigation.  Also, successful cnadicates will be required to take a pre-employment drug screening.  New employees must provide documentation to establish both work authorization and identity.
