Under moderate and regular supervision, the Part-Time Crowd Control Usher performs a variety of duties including public safety watches, facility servurity and ushering of guests.

Essential functions include:

• Maintains order in assigned areas.
• Assists the public in locating seats.
• Preventing unauthorized persons from entering exhibits and/or meeting areas during trade shows or conventions, in seating areas during public events and non-contracted facility areas at anytime.
• Supplying information such as locations of restrooms, telephones and ticket offices.
• Maintaining fire watch during exhibit and non-exhibit hours.
• This position also includes other job related duties as required.

This is a part time position. The hours of work are irregular and no minimum number of hours are guaranteed. Work is typically available on all days of the year, including holidays. Current need is for all shifts: day, swing and graveyard.

SALARY RANGE
$10.02- $10.52 per hour

This position requires:

• Ability to climb up and down stairs, walk, and stand for extended periods of time.
• Skill in effective verbal communication.
• Ability to deal diplomatically with the public, supervisors and fellow employees.
• Availability to permit scheduling on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays as assigned: days, swing or graveyard shifts.
